Make It Happen

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F. While it is heating, line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Cut each cube of cookie dough in half and roll each one into a smooth ball. Place the cookie dough balls 2” apart on the baking sheet.

Step 2

Bake the cookies for 11-12 minutes, or until just set and slightly crisp on the edges. Remove from the oven and let cool for 2-3 minutes on the pan.

Step 3

Using the base of a round icing tip, gently cut out two small holes in the center of half (6) of the baked cookies. These will become the snowman “tops”. Set these aside while you prepare the marshmallow base.

Step 4

Take the remaining half (6) of the cookies – the ones without the holes – and place half a large marshmallow on top of each one. Microwave them for about 15 seconds each, just until the marshmallow softens and starts to puff up.

Step 5

Quickly place one of the snowman “top” cookies – the ones with the holes – on top of the cookies with the melted marshmallow. Gently press down so the marshmallow pushes up through the holes. This creates the body of your snowman.

Use white icing to smooth out the marshmallow surface if needed. Then, use the black edible paint marker to add eyes, buttons, and a smile to each of your snowmen. Finally, use green and red icing to add scarves, hats, or other festive touches!
