Make It Happen

Step 1

Pre-heat the oven to 325°F. Break and place the cookie dough cubes 2” apart on a greased baking sheet. Bake 13-17 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from cookie sheet and transfer to cooling racks. Let cool completely.

Step 2

Prepare the frosting by whisking together the powdered sugar, corn syrup, water, and a few drops of food coloring. Continue whisking until all the ingredients are blended, and your frosting is smooth.

Step 3

Place the icing in a piping bag. Snip off one corner and begin to frost the cookies. Start by outlining the outer edge of each cookie with the blue icing. Allow them to set for 5 minutes.

Step 4

Fill in the center of each cookie with more blue icing, creating a pool or ocean-like effect.

Step 5

Before the icing in the center completely hardens, add on your decorations! Start by cutting the feet off a few of the graham cracker bears so just the torso and head remain. Place a gummy ring on each cookie and position the bear inside the ring. It should look like the bear is floating in an inner tube!

Step 6

Place a graham fish or two on some of the cookies to add a little extra touch of underwater fun.

Step 7

Add white sprinkles on the blue icing to create bubbles in the water.

Step 8

Get even more creative with the toppings by adding sour streamers as beach towels with some umbrellas overtop and positioning the Teddy Grahams as sunbathers.

Step 9

These cookies will certainly make a splash anywhere you take them. They’re perfect for beach-themed parties, summer gatherings, or snack time.
