Make It Happen

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 325°F. Break apart your cookie dough cubes and place them 2” apart on a greased baking sheet. Bake for 13-17 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from cookie sheet and transfer to cooling racks. Let cool completely.

Step 2

Start by preparing your streusel. Melt the butter in a medium-sized skillet over medium heat. Once the butter is melted, remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the flour, sugar, cinnamon, and salt until the mixture is fully moistened and forms clumps.

Step 3

Return the skillet to the heat, stirring frequently until the streusel turns golden brown. Transfer the streusel to a plate to let cool.

Step 4

Make your cream cheese frosting by beating together the softened cream cheese and butter in a mixing bowl. Beat until smooth and creamy.

Step 5

Add the powdered sugar and caramel sauce to the cream cheese and butter mixture. Continue to whip until light and fluffy. Then, stir in the vanilla extract.

Step 6

Frost each cookie with the cream cheese frosting. Then, top with green apples and a sprinkle of the homemade streusel.

Step 7
