Spooky Ghost Peanut Butter Cookies
Halloween treats don’t have to be tricky to be spooky! These Spooky Ghost Peanut Butter Cookies turn Wooden Spoon® Peanut Butter Cookie Dough into an adorable Halloween dessert with just a few extra ingredients.
We start with soft and chewy peanut butter cookies, then top each one with a marshmallow dipped in white chocolate and decorated with a silly or spooky ghost face. A little extra melted chocolate around the bottom gives our ghosts their “melted” look and makes each cookie completely unique.
They’re easy enough to make with the kids and cute enough to bring to a Halloween party, school celebration, or spooky movie night. Grab the marshmallows and let’s make some ghosts!

Make It Happen
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 325°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the Wooden Spoon® Peanut Butter Cookie Dough cubes on the prepared baking sheet, leaving room between each cookie. Bake according to package directions for 12–14 minutes, or until golden brown.
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Step 2
Place the white chocolate candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl and melt according to the package directions. Stir until completely smooth.
Step 3
Dip each marshmallow into the melted white chocolate until completely coated. Place the coated marshmallows on parchment paper and allow the chocolate to set.
Once hardened, use black decorating icing to give each ghost a face. We can make them spooky, silly, surprised, or a little bit of everything!
Step 4
Dip the bottom of each marshmallow ghost into the remaining melted white chocolate and place it in the center of a cooled peanut butter cookie. Spoon or drizzle a little additional white chocolate around the base of the marshmallow to create a fun “melted ghost” effect.
Allow the chocolate to set completely before serving.
Storage Information
Store the finished Spooky Ghost Peanut Butter Cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2–3 days. Place parchment or wax paper between layers to keep the chocolate decorations from sticking together.
For the best appearance and texture, we recommend decorating the cookies no more than a day or two before serving.
