Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Granola Bars

With layers of hearty oats, creamy peanut butter, chocolate chips, and Wooden Spoon® Peanut Butter Cookie Dough, you get a dessert bar that is homemade, packed with flavor, and easy to share. They’re the kind of treat you can set out for an afternoon snack, pack up for busy days at the office, or enjoy alongside a fresh cup of coffee or tea after dinner.

Ingredients

  • 12 cubes of Wooden Spoon® Peanut Butter Cookie Dough
  • 1 c. old-fashioned oats
  • 1 c. granola
  • 1/4 c. honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 c. peanut butter
  • 1/2 c. mini chocolate chips

Make It Happen

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350°F. While the oven is heating, line an 8×8” baking pan with parchment paper. Take your cubes of Peanut Butter Cookie Dough and press them into the bottom of the pan.

Step 2

Next, make the granola mixture. Stir together the oats, granola, honey (or maple syrup), peanut butter, and mini chocolate chips. Mix until well combined. Then, spread the granola mixture evenly over the cookie layer in your pan.

Step 3

Crumble any remaining cookie dough cubes over the top of the granola mixture (or you can use extra from your package of Wooden Spoon® Cookie Dough).

Step 4

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and set in the middle. Let cool completely before slicing into bars.

Storage Information

You can store your Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Granola Bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days. If you prefer a firmer texture, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
